No one knows the experiences of student workers more than the student workers themselves. Yet, we continue to be shut out of decision-making that is intended to help us support ourselves and thrive in our jobs. Only through a Student Workers Union can we achieve even a sliver of the democratic control we currently lack in our workplaces. We will not and must not stop fighting for a union.

In line with the motto of our national affiliate, the UE, the United Electrical, Radio, & Machine Workers of America, the members run this union.

We believe in and act upon the principles of union democracy. K-SWOC holds regular membership meetings where Kenyon student workers deliberate on strategy, vote on financial decisions, and update each other on issues from various workplaces and work together to find solutions.
